Baku, 24 November (AZERTAC). The introduction of the first flight of DubaiFly to Baku was held at November 23 press conference in Hyatt Regency Nakhchivan hotel.

Director General of DubaiFly Geyt Al Geyt has arrived in Baku to inaugurate the launching of flights to Baku.

“Large oil incomes of Azerbaijan, development of tourism and economy, as well as the non-oil sector, have made its capital Baku one of the swiftly developing cities of the world and new attractive destination. We consider Baku to be an all-important economic and financial hub of South Caucasus”, he said.

Flydubai direct services will link the passengers and potential investors from all over the world, including United Arab Emirates, to Baku, facilitate the smooth transfer of business and leisure travelers, and thus, contribute to the development of tourism area of Azerbaijan.

The first aircraft departed Dubai at 19:35 hours and touched down at Baku International airport at 22:30 hours the same day.

The company offers Baku-Dubai tickets per 165 USD.
