FM OF HUNGARY TO VISIT AZERBAIJAN
A delegation headed by Foreign Minister of Hungary Kinga Goncz is to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan on 17-19 May, embassy of Azerbaijan in Budapest told.
According to the schedule, the Hungarian delegation on 18 May will visit Alley of Honors and lay flowers on the tomb of nationwide leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and also pay tribute to memories of the brave sons of Azerbaijan who fell for territorial integrity and sovereignty of Motherland.
The same day, Mrs. Kinga Goncz will negotiate with Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov, be received by President Ilham Aliyev, meet with Prime Minister Artur Rasizade and the minister of economic development of Azerbaijan Heydar Babayev.
The Hungarian delegation is expected to sign a number of documents on cooperation.
Mrs. Kinga Goncz is also said to meet with minister of industry and energy Natig Aliyev, minister of transport Ziya Mammadov, president of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev.
Official Baku estimates the upcoming visit of Hungarian foreign minister to Azerbaijan as an “important step” opening good and concrete prospects between the two countries, ambassador of Azerbaijan to Hungary Hasan Hasanov said.
