FONDEL METAL RAISED SALARY
Dutch Fondel Metal Company, taken the open joint stock company Azerbaijan Aluminum for long-term management, took a decision to raise salary of all employees of the company working in Ganja and Sumgait. According to the information of the representation of the company in Azerbaijan, salary of each employee of the Ganja aluminous power was raised by 100 000 manats and of Sumgait aluminum factory - by 200 000 manats.
Salary raise has been held since September 1. Now, 3400 people have been employed by the company. Some 2700 out of them - in Ganja and 650 - in Sumgait, the rest have been employed by the Dahskasan alunite mine, temporarily standing idle. Due to extra investments, to be brought within upcoming two years, the number of employees will reach 5400. The average salary at Ganja plant comes to 740 000 manats.
The decision on raising salary was taken after Prime Minister Ilham Aliyev acquainted with the operations of these enterprises.
