FRANCE AND CHINA SEEK FURTHER EXPANSION OF MUTUAL TRADE
Paris and Beijing are destined to further expand trade contacts, said deputy Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of China. Mr. Zen Pejan, who concluded a contract worth $2 billion on purchase of 20 A330-300 airbuses.
The parties also signed agreements on cooperation in 8 more spheres. These documents indicate to development of strategic cooperation between the two countries in trade sphere following the official visit of head of Chinese State to France late January this year.
According to the new treaties, French side will boost the cooperation between companies of France and China, chiefly, in developing aircraft construction, transports and energy sectors in China, constructing the nuclear power plants, assembling the television transmitter for broadcast of summer Olympic Games.
In accordance with agreements, President of France Jacques Chirac will pay an official visit to China October this year.
