FRENCH EMBASSY GIVES RECEPTION ON BASTILLE DAY
The embassy of France to Azerbaijan gave a reception July 14 on the occasion of the Bastille Day at the Hyatt Park hotel.
Jacques-Yves Berto, French chargé d’affaires in Baku said French people’s fight for liberty turned out to be successful 218 years ago.
Jacques-Yves Berto said President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev’s visit to France is an indicator of high level of bilateral relations between the two countries.
He expressed hope that bilateral cultural, political, economic, scientific, educational relations between France and Azerbaijan will continue to develop.
ON the occasion of the national holiday, deputy vice-speaker of the Milli Majlis Ziyafet Asgarov wished well-being and stability to the people of France on behalf of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
He expressed his confidence that bilateral relations between the two countries will continue to develop.
Government officials of Azerbaijan, representatives of foreign embassy to Azerbaijan, and public of Azerbaijan were present at the meeting.
