FRENCH GIRL LEARNS AZERI AT SLAVONIC UNIVERSITY

Master of National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations of France Isabel Richard is learning Azeri language at the Slavonic University, AzerTAj correspondent reports.

I. Richard noted that she first learnt Arabic and then she got down to Turkish.. She majored in Azerbaijani in her third year. She stressed that she is very interested in history, culture, and literature of Azerbaijani people with such a melodious language. Frenchgirl noted that she had information on outstanding writers. She had a conversation with Anar during the recent international conference entitled “Azerbaijan: language, literature, and society”. She noted that Baku Slavonic University possesses all necessary methodic and technical possibilities to study Azerbaijani, and expressed the confidence that she would manage to master the language in three months.
