French TV5 MONDE broadcasts film on Azerbaijan`s ashug art
Baku, November 25 (AZERTAC). French TV5 MONDE has broadcasted a film on Azerbaijan`s ashug art.
The 52-minute film, entitled “Azerbaijan`s ashug” starts with the information about the capital city of Baku.
The author says the city is a place, where various cultures meet for centuries. The oil rich country rapidly develops and integrates into Europe.
Touching upon the ashug art in Azerbaijan, the French film crew stressed ashugs glorify the love and heroism in their songs.
The film also informs the viewers on Azerbaijan`s territory, people and history of independence. The film crew says currently Azerbaijan has modern youth with intellectual thought. Integrating into Europe, Azerbaijani youth don`t forget about the national traditions of the country. They love their motherland very much.
While shooting the film, the crew has been in outlying districts of the country and has had conversation with elders and studied the secrets of looking hale and hearty in their years. The crew has also been informed about the reasons and results of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.
