Frozen conflicts are serious threat to international security, the OSCE PA President Goran Lennmarker said while speaking at the 15th annual session of the OSCE Parliament Assembly held in the Ukrainian Supreme Rada on 5 July about his last-month visit to Azerbaijan, Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. He added that the questions related to the Nagorno-Karabakh and Transdniester conflicts were to be discussed by relevant committee of the organization.

Ukraine’s President Viktor Yushenko, who also addressed the session, reiterated the stance of the official Kiev supporting territorial integrity of the countries where frozen conflicts exist. The leader of Ukraine said his country will continue the efforts to prevent threats to security, as well as to expand cooperation in energy and other spheres of economy within the frameworks of the OSCE, GUAM and BSEC.

Azerbiajani parliamentarians are also among the session participants .
