GEORGIAN PARLIAMENT SPEAKER BELIEVES IRANIAN PROBLEM TO BE SETTLED BY PEACE

Nino Burjanadze, Georgian parliament speaker said at a meeting taken place on April 4 with delegation from the United States Congress, arrived in the country on a four-day visit, that she believes in peace solution of the problem over the Islamic Republic of Iran.

At the meeting, the head of US delegation David Price emphasized that the information widespread by a number of foreign mass media that the USA will bomb Iran, using air space of Georgia, has provocative character.

N. Burjanadze has named this information invented and next provocation. She said: “I am sure that the Iranian problem, as well as any other problem will be settled by peace, by negotiations.”

Relations between legislative structures of Georgia and the USA and some other questions regarding mutual interest were discussed at the meeting.
