Guadeloupe representative: Guadeloupe has endured four centuries of brutal colonialism

Baku, June 25, AZERTAC

“Guadeloupe has been subjected to bloody colonialism for four centuries. Many lives have been lost on our land, and France is responsible for this,” said Guadeloupe representative Jose Bvakanpeç at the conference dedicated to the island.

He added that as a result of Western colonial policies, countless people’s lives were sacrificed: “They used people as tools.”
