On the 21st and 22nd August, the Guba Region Agricultural Show Association holding its third annual Agricultural Show in the Presidential Park in Guba Town. The aim is to build on last year’s show which was attended by over 7,000 people and supported by the Ministry of Agriculture; the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism; the Ministry of Culture; the Guba Regional Authority; and the British and American Embassies in Baku.

The Show include: - A Main Arena with a range of events including traditional dancing and singing, wrestling, tug-o-war amongst other entertainments;

- An Exhibition Area for those interested in having a stand to promote their activities;

- A Livestock Competition and Displays of Agricultural Machinery;

- A Musical Concert on Sunday evening with a prize draw;

- A Women’s Institute Area displaying home-produce and handicraft;

- A Children’s Amusement Area with a small fairground; - Sporting Entertainment including football, Bailov Rovers v. Guba Region and demonstration rugby match.

There were many opportunities for people to participate in the Guba Region Agricultural Show, be it sponsoring an event; taking a stand in the exhibition; advertising around the show; or just simply attending what we trust will again be a very enjoyable week-end.
