Harvard Law School graduate appointed to high position at Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan
Baku, September 1, AZERTAС
Graduate of the Harvard Law School (HLS) of the Harvard University Araz Poladov has been appointed as head of the legislation development sector of the legislation and legal policy department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Araz Poladov graduated from the Baku State University with a bachelor's degree in jurisprudence in 2016, and obtained Master of Law degree (LLM) in European and International Business Law from the University of Vienna in 2017, and from the Harvard University in 2019-2020.
Poladov started his career as a teacher at the Baku State University in 2017, and simultaneously worked as a trainee lawyer in Azerbaijani branch of "Baker McKenzie CIS Limited". Besides, he also worked as an associate at "Law Firm AZIP" LLC in 2018-2019 and as a managing associate in 2020-2021. In 2021-2023, he worked as a lawyer at the Shearman and Sterling Law Firm in London, the capital of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Araz Poladov holds a PhD degree in Law obtained in 2022.
