Global South NGO Platform launches its first event on disaster risk and urban resilience

The Global South NGO Platform featured its inaugural event on increasing inclusion, urban resilience, disaster risk reduction, and sustainable waste management as part of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
At the event, speakers from a number of countries, including Pakistan, Nigeria, and Oman are delivering remarks at the event.
The speeches highlighted the importance of sustainable management of water resources in the cities of the future, the impact of improper management of water resources on women and youth, as well as the principles on which cities of the future should be built.
