Transportation corridors to define living standards in coming decades, minister says
Baku, May 19, AZERTAC
“Transport corridors are more than lines on a map. They are decisions that will shape people’s living standards in the coming decades, even centuries,” said Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev, in his remarks at a special session on “Cities at the heart of connectivity: Urban reconstruction and regional cooperation” held as part of the WUF13.
“Every kilometer of railway and highway built today is a choice about how the future will be shaped. These choices determine the future of societies, as well as economic activity and mind-sets,” Minister Nabiyev stated.
