Anacláudia Rossbach: Housing policy, urban planning and water supply must be implemented in a coordinated manner

“Housing is one of the main driving forces of urbanization. For this reason, housing policy, urban planning and water supply should be implemented jointly and in a coordinated manner,” Anacláudia Rossbach, Executive Director of the UN Habitat, said during her speech at the panel session titled “UN 2026 Water Conference: Urban Housing Roadmap” held as part of the WUF13.
She noted that this approach can support sustainable urban development and improve access to essential services.
