Minister: Green energy corridors are shaping a new energy architecture connecting Caspian region with Europe and Asia
Baku, May 19, AZERTAC
“The cities of the future will no longer be assessed by their size, but by their energy efficiency, technological advancement, and regional connectivity,” said Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, as he addressed the special session on “Cities at the heart of connectivity: Urban reconstruction and regional cooperation” held as part of the WUF13.
“Thanks to President Ilham Aliyev's visionary policy, which values energy security, "green development", and peacebuilding in unity with regional connections, Azerbaijan is today becoming one of the key centers of connectivity and cooperation in Eurasia. Green energy corridors developing synchronously with the Middle Corridor are shaping a new energy architecture that connects the Caspian region with Europe and Asia,” Minister Parviz Shahbazov underlined.
