FM Bayramov: Cities are becoming strategic platforms for regional cooperation and sustainable development
Baku, May 19, AZERTAC
“In the modern era, cities are no longer just places where people live and work, but are also becoming strategic hubs at the intersection of diplomacy, trade, infrastructure, technology, climate action, and regional cooperation,” said Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during the event titled “Rebuilding Cities and Regional Cooperation: How Reconstruction Can Transform Cities into Engines of Regional Connectivity and Shared Prosperity?” held within the framework of WUF13.
“The future of sustainable development will depend on cities being successfully connected to each other not only physically, but also economically, digitally, institutionally, and socially,” Jeyhun Bayramov underlined.
