Slovak minister: We prioritize sharing our experience in ensuring high-quality water supply for cities

“Slovakia is actively involved in the UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat). It has extensive experience in water resource management and providing cities with high-quality water. The country has therefore prioritized sharing its expertise and strengthening international cooperation to support communities,” Tomáš Taraba, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment of the Slovak Republic, who is participating at WUF13, told journalists.
Highlighting the strong relations between the two countries, he recalled President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Slovakia a few months ago and the Speaker of the Slovak National Council’s visit to Azerbaijan. He added that he is attending the event as a representative of the Slovak Prime Minister.
