World Organisation for Animal Health: Azerbaijan makes presentation as Vice-President at European Regional Commission meeting

A meeting of the European Regional Commission of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) kicked off ahead of the 93rd General Session of the World Assembly of Delegates of the WOAH in Paris, France.
Azerbaijan was represented at the meeting by Galib Abdulaliyev as Vice-President of the WOAH European Regional Commission by the Head of the Animal Health and Biosecurity Department of the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan. He highlighted the efforts undertaken by Azerbaijan within the framework of his vice-presidency.
The meeting also heard the report of the Monitoring Group of the Animal Welfare Committee of the Commission. Galib Abdulaliyev delivered a presentation as a representative of 5 countries that are members of the European Regional Commission.
The outcomes of the meeting of the regional commission members will be discussed at the General Session and relevant decisions will be made.
The Regional Commission for Europe is composed of the Delegates of the 53 Member Countries in the region.
