Irakli Kobakhidze: I thank Azerbaijan for the excellent organization of WUF13

“I would like to express my gratitude to Azerbaijan for its warm, cordial hospitality and for the high-level organization of the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum, which is one of the most critical global events. This is a global challenge, and it provides an opportunity to discuss climate change, housing issues, as well as matters of social cohesion,” stated Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze during the Leaders’ Statements at the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku.
He noted that the preservation of urban spaces is one of the factors ensuring stability, prosperity, and resilience of societies and future generations. He added that development must be sustainable, resilient, regionally balanced, and focused on citizens’ needs.
