Tomáš Taraba: Slovakia strongly supports UN-Habitat's sustainable urban resilience initiative for the next generation

“Many cities around the world are facing the consequences of climate change, demographic pressure, economic inequality, and military conflicts. The challenge lies not only in recovery, but also in long-term renewal and revitalization. Slovakia is ready to contribute to these efforts,” said Tomáš Taraba, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment of Slovakia, during the Leaders’ Statements at the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku.
The Slovak Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that Slovakia strongly supports UN-Habitat’s sustainable urban resilience initiative for the next generation. He noted that the project is regarded as a practical platform for increasing urban climate resilience and strengthening infrastructure.
