HEARINGS ON CABINET’S ANNUAL REPORT HELD IN PARLIAMENT
Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic today presented its annual report on results of 2007 at the meeting of Milli Majlis.
In his opening remarks, Speaker of Azerbaijan Parliament Ogtay Asadov said successful policy of the Azerbaijan President manifests itself in all fields. Last year, the increase of GDP, money incomes of the population, rising welfare and intensification of construction works in the country are evidence to that. At his words, today’s hearings are carried out according to the Constitution and are indication of joint activity of the Government and Parliament.
Then, Premier of Azerbaijan Republic made report on the period under review, commenting figures on annual accomplishments in the economic and socio-cultural life.
