International Bank of Azerbaijan assets jump by 23%
Baku, April 18 (AZERTAC). Assets of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) increased by 22.8% during the year and reached AZN 7.648 bln, according to the data for April 1, 2014.
IBA`s loan portfolio increased 28.2% compared to April 1, 2013 and amounted to AZN 5.155 bln by April 1, 2014. Loans given to individuals reached AZN 557.2 million. Retail deposits in the Bank by the end of the first quarter of 2014 amounted to AZN 1.542 bln. Their growth compared to April 1, 2013 made up 8.7%.
IBA`s total capital reached AZN 950.6 million that is by 27.1% more than by April 1, 2013. The authorized capital of the IBA reached AZN 499.8 million. First quarter 2014 the Bank's revenues made AZN 143.97 million. IBA`s net profit, according to data by April 1, 2014, amounted to AZN 12.3 million.
The number of active cards issued by the IBA by April 1, 2014 amounted to 2,041,206. The bank runs 697 cash machines and 5,123 POS-terminals.
