International Bank of Azerbaijan to represent country at forum GIFF 2012

Baku, September 19 (AZERTAC). The International Bank of Azerbaijan as a leading bank of Azerbaijan and the pioneer in implementation of Islamic Banking in the region has been invited by the Bank Negara Malaysia to participate in the third Global Islamic Finance Forum (GIFF).

The forum will be conducted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 18 to 20 September.

The GIIF entitled "Internationalization of Islamic Finance: Bridging Economies" sets a goal of recognition of the tremendous international prospect surrounding the thriving Islamic Finance industry.

GIFF 2012 will feature financial industry practitioners, regulators, Shariah scholars and business communities from around the globe to discuss the prospects for Islamic finance in bridging economies and strengthening connectivity.

The event will be organized in collaboration with the Securities Commission Malaysia, Association of Islamic Banking Institutions Malaysia (AIBIM), Islamic Banking and Finance Institute Malaysia (IBFIM), Malaysian Takaful Association (MTA), International Shariah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA) and Exchange of Malaysia.
