INT’L CONFERENCE–EXHIBITION “CASPIAN TELECOM” WRAPS UP IN ISTANBUL
The International conference-exhibition on telecommunication and information technologies “Caspian Telecoms” ended in Istanbul, April 12-13.
The issues dealt with the liberalization and privatization of the telecommunication and IT sectors, attraction of the foreign investors to these areas and other ones were in the focus of the event. Turkey’s Minister of Transport and Communication Binali Yildirim, representative of the “TeliaSonera” Company Erdal Durukan, “Fintour Holdings” Director Serkan Elden made speeches.
General sponsor of the event was the leading stockholder of Azercell Telecom JV- Fintour Holding Company, which gathered the representatives from 20 countries of the Caspian, Black Sea and the Central Asian countries.
Azerbaijan was represented by the leadership of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies, Aztelekom Internet provider and Azercell Telecom JV.
