Investigation of AZAL's black boxes begins in Brazil

In Brazil, experts have started analyzing the black boxes from the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) Embraer 190 passenger plane that crashed in Kazakhstan, according to this information Brazil's G1 news portal.
Representatives from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Russia convened at the Center for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents (CENIPA). Specialists are extracting and analyzing data from the black boxes, which record information about the plane’s condition throughout the flight and the pilots’ communications prior to the crash.
“CENIPA has the capability to create a virtual graphic reconstruction to model and clarify the events. The findings from Brazil’s analysis will be included in the final investigation report led by Kazakhstan. The technical data will help identify the malfunctions during the emergency landing and explain the route change of the AZAL flight departing from Baku,” G1 stated.
Brazil is involved in the investigation because the Embraer 190 aircraft was manufactured there.
The AZAL passenger plane operating the Baku-Grozny flight crashed near Aktau, Kazakhstan, on December 25. Of the 67 people onboard, 38 lost their lives.
