Iran dismantled 78 gangs in 6 months

Iran’s Intelligence forces have dismantled some 78 arms and ammunition smuggling gangs in the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2021-September 23, 2021), according to IRNA.
With the intelligence and operational measures of forces in the Ministry of Intelligence, 78 arms and ammunition smuggling gangs were identified and dismantled in the first six months of this year, the Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry said in a statement.
During the operations, 2,170 various types of weapons have been discovered and 201 people have been arrested, it noted.
