IRAN HAS ALWAYS SUPPORTED AZERBAIJAN IN NAGORNO KARABAKH CONFLICT, VICE PRESIDENT

Tehran, September 20 (AZERTAC). “The Islamic Republic of Iran has always supported Azerbaijan and will continue doing so,” Hojatul Islam Mirtajaddin Mahammadrza, Iranian Vice-President on Parliamentary Affairs, said at an international regional seminar entitled “The Azerbaijan Republic 2010: its role in the region and international situation” in Tehran.

Mahammadrza noted: “Iran has always defended Azerbaijan in the Nagorno Karabakh issue and criticized the occupation strategy of Armenia.”
