ANAS, Girne American University to sign cooperation agreement

Academician Isa HabibbAyli, President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), met with a delegation led by Professor Serdar Yurtsever, Rector of Girne American University in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
Noting that Azerbaijan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus have strengthened cooperation within the Organization of Turkic States, Academician Isa Habibbayli highlighted broad opportunities for scientific and cultural collaboration. He also hailed the active participation of Northern Cyprus representatives in events organized by the ANAS.
Isa Habibbayli highlighted the ANAS’s research in the humanities, social sciences, and artificial intelligence, expressing readiness to cooperate with Girne American University through joint projects and conferences.
Professor Serdar Yurtsever expressed the university’s intention to establish close cooperation with the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
During the meeting, the sides agreed to sign a cooperation agreement between the two institutions.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Girne American University and senior officials of ANAS.
