Istanbul hosts 5th meeting of Azerbaijan-Türkiye Joint Commission on Culture

The 5th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Joint Commission on Culture was held in Istanbul.
Azerbaijan was represented at the meeting by Deputy Minister of Culture Farid Jafarov.
The meeting discussed the issues of deepening cultural relations between the two fraternal countries, identifying new areas of cooperation and implementing joint projects.
The sides highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation in cultural legacy, cinema, theater, museum and library work, creative industries, music education and improving the legal framework.
They noted that the cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye were based on shared historical and moral values and serve to strengthen fraternal relations between the peoples.
The meeting ended with signing of a protocol of the 5th meeting of the Commission.
