ISTANBUL TO HOST 37th MEETING OF EUROPEAN OLYMPIC COMMITTEES

Turkish city of Istanbul will host the 37th meeting of European Olympic Committees dedicated to the centenary of the founding of the Turkish Olympic Committee on November 20-21, AZERTAC`s Ankara based correspondent said. The meeting will be attended by representatives from various cities, including Chicago, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro and Madrid.

During the meeting, president of the International Olympic Committee Jacques Rogge will be presented with a diploma of honorary doctor of the Istanbul University.
