Italian media highlights Senate delegation’s visit to Azerbaijan
Rome, May 9 (AZERTAC). A recent visit of an Italian Senate delegation to Azerbaijan has been in spotlight in Italy.
A number of Italian news websites highlighted the visit of the delegation, which was led by Nicola Latorre, chairman of the Senate Defence Commission.
An article on ilvelino.it provides an insight into the delegation’s meetings with a number of Azerbaijani state officials and the issues which were discussed.
Stressing Latorre’s impressions, the article notes that the visit was of great importance in terms of strengthening the relations between the two countries.
“The visit was also significant from the point of view of extending the cooperation in the field of defense and security to establish peace and stability.”
