IUPT 84TH CONFERENCE UNDERWAY IN BAKU
The 84th conference of the International Union of Public Transport (IUPT) devoted to the national leader Heydar Aliyev’s 85th birthday continued its work May 13 in Baku.
The conferees exchanged views on tackling international transport related issues.
Tagi Ahmadov, Chief of the Baku Subway said the conference would be useful in terms of developing cooperation.
Following the conference, the participants visited some stations of Baku Subway.
The guests were informed of recent construction work in the Baku Subway.
UITP President Roberto Cavalieri said holding the conference in Baku is of paramount importance, as there is a speedy development including transport system in the city.
