JORDAN AND AZERBAIJAN TO DEVELOP MOTOR TRUCKING COOPERATION
The agreement with Jordan established groundwork for cooperation in motor trucking, chief of the department of the Azerbaijan’s Transport Ministry Sadraddin Mammadov said.
S. Mammadov noted that the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan made its TRACECA-related offers to the Jordanian side, saying that the draft agreement had been prepared. During President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Jordan, the agreement on motor trucking cooperation was signed between Azerbaijan and Jordan.
He said Azerbaijan is keen on developing cooperation in the transport sector, adding the agreement providing for transportation of cargo from the Central Asia and Far East to the Middle East including Jordan and backwards will give a kick-start to bilateral relations.
