‘Jordan attaches great importance to developing relations with Azerbaijan’

Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Jordanian parliament Atef Yousef Saleh Al Tarawneh has underlined great importance that his country attaches to the development of relations with Azerbaijan. Al Tarawneh expressed Jordan`s interest in strengthening its cooperation with Azerbaijan as he me with the country`s Prime Minister Artur Rasizade in Baku.
He also hailed the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games, which kick off in the Azerbaijani capital on Friday and where Jordanian athletes will also contest medals. Al Tarawneh said the Games will contribute to ensuring peace and friendship among peoples.
Rasizade emphasized the development of political relations between Azerbaijan and Jordan. He also highlighted cooperation in the spheres of tourism, trade, culture and investment.
