KAREN KOBLITZ TO PRESENT "FACING EAST" EXHIBITION
American ceramic artist Karen Koblitz will present her "Facing East" exhibition dedicated to Azerbaijan at the L2kontemporary Gallery in Los Angeles, US Embassy in Baku said.
Koblitz will present works in clay and woven textiles, largely inspired by a 15-day journey through Azerbaijan last May.
In "Facing East", the elaborately crafted and richly decorated art, architecture, and literature of Azerbaijan are intertwined with images and symbols familiar to her native California.
The exhibition will run until October 6.
