KAZAKHSTAN PRESIDENT VISITS GERMANY AND RUSSIA
President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has paid visits to the Federative Republic of Germany and Russia. Further strengthening economic cooperation, establishment of close relations between the businesspersons, and a number of other issues were the focus of Nursultan Nazarbayev’s meeting with FRG Federal Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, press-service of Kazakhstan President reports. Mr. Nazarbayev and Mr. Schroeder attended the Day of Economics of Kazakhstan held in Hanover.
Mr. Nazarbayev left FRG for Russia. Here, during the meeting with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the parties discussed actual completion of Russia-Kazakhstan borders delimitation, cooperation in the field of fuel and energy, some international problems. Mr. Nazarbayev also met with the Chairman of the Russian government M. Fradkov and mayor of Moscow Y. Luzhkov.
