KOREAN ELECTRONIC TRADE CENTER OPENED IN BAKU
The opening ceremony of the Korean Electronic Trade Center, which brought together the 11 delegates from 21 companies of Korea, about 50 businessmen from Azerbaijan was opened May 14 in Baku business-center.
Executive Secretary of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economic Development Samir Valiyev recalled the official visit of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev to the Republic of Korea, in April 2007, the Azerbaijan-Korean business-forum held in Seoul and the documents signed. One of the important documents was the creation of the Korean Electronic Trade Center in Azerbaijan with the support of Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
The Head of the Export and Investment Promotion Foundation of Azerbaijan Republic (AZPROMO) Anar Guliyev delivered report on the “Investment milieu in Azerbaijan, the opportunities of trade ad business”.
Professor of the Korean Polytechnic Institute, head of the e-trade center Juan Seung Kwan updated participants on the project, as well as held the bilateral meetings between the Azerbaijan and Korean businessmen.
Ambassador of Korea to Azerbaijan Lu Kwang Cho was present at the ceremony.
