Kyrgyz citizens evacuated from Iran

Citizens of Kyrgyzstan have been evacuated from Iran.
According to AZERTAC’s regional correspondent, the evacuees include staff members of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Iran. They entered Azerbaijani territory through the Astara border checkpoint.
Several foreign countries have appealed to the Government of Azerbaijan for assistance in facilitating the transit of their citizens through Azerbaijani territory to return home from Iran.
