Lithuania hosts youth forum of Eastern Partnership countries
Baku, October 30 (AZERTAC). Lithuanian Kaunas city has hosted a youth forum of the Eastern Partnership countries organized by the country`s Agency of International Youth Co-operation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Social Security and Labour on October 22-25.
Azerbaijan was represented by employee of the Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Lala Rzayeva, secretary for international relations of the “IRELI” Public Union Turkan Vusatqizi and representatives of several NGOs.
According to the press service of the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation, the aim of the forum was to organize exchange of views over recognition of non-formal education, being implemented among the youth of Easter Partnership and European Union`s Youth in Action Program member countries.
The forum brought together nearly 200 youth, experts and researchers from six Eastern Partnership member countries and European countries.
The Azerbaijani delegation informed the attendees on the positive changes and achievements in the youth field of the country.
Rzayeva has moderated the Forum`s group session on indicator of non-formal education.
The forum also featured group discussions, where the attendees were informed about the activity, photos and video presentations of the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation, as well as international relations of the “IRELI” Public Union.
