Cooperation in the field of agriculture was in the focus of negotiations held recently between the heads of governments of Belarus and Azerbaijan in Moscow, AzerTAj correspondent reports.

Plan of arrangements on realization of the agreements signed between the heads of governments of two countries envisages implementation of the joint projects, Prime-Minister of Belarus Sergey Sedorsky said. In particular, government of Belarus is ready to give opportunities to Minsk automobile and tractor plants, as well as enterprises on manufacturing of agricultural equipment to open assembly workshops in Azerbaijan. Mr. Sidorsky noted that the sides concluded that agricultural machine building production may be widely used in Azerbaijan, as well as joint ventures for selection of plants and cattle breeding opened.

In his turn, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade noted that in the soviet years, Azerbaijan was “All-Union vegetable garden” and therefore was highly keen on Belarus tractors.
