MEETING AT BAKU BUSINESS CENTER

President of Bulgaria on 7 October met at the Baku Business Center with participators of the meeting of joint commission on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation between the Azerbaijan Republic and the Republic of Bulgaria.

Opening the meeting was the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Republic Abid Sharifov. He welcomed the delegation of Bulgaria and expressed wish for fruitful cooperation in the years ahead. In Azerbaijan, there are all opportunities for this, he stressed.

Then, speaking was the minister of economic development Farhad Aliyev, Azerbaijan, who said that development of versatile links with the European countries is one of the priorities of Azerbaijan. In this sense, Azerbaijan is also interested in development of relations with Bulgaria.

Then, he informed on the investment environment for the business circles of Azerbaijan and Bulgaria. He, in particular, stressed necessity of working out a relevant contract-legal base.

At the meeting, also speaking was the Deputy Prime Minister of Bulgaria, minister of transport and communications Nikolay Vasilyev.

President of Bulgaria Georgi Parvanov attended and made remarks at the meeting in the Baku Business Center.
