MEETING TO ASSESS IMPLEMENTATION OF IPAP FOR AZERBAIJAN HELD IN BRUSSELS
A meeting to assess implementation of the NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) by Azerbaijan was held May 2 at the NATO headquarters in Brussels.
The delegation of Azerbaijan including senior officials of the Ministries of National Security and Emergency Situations, State Frontier Service, Interior Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs had a meeting within the framework of the NATO’s North Atlantic Council.
E. Mammadyarov updated meeting participants on the work that Azerbaijan has done so far to implement IPAP and accomplishments achieved in this area.
The Minister said there is possibility of settling Nagorno-Karabakh conflict only within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
The delegation of Azerbaijan answered the questions asked by ambassadors of NATO member countries.
During the visit, head of Azerbaijan’s foreign office and NATO officials discussed development of bilateral relations, implementation of IPAP, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, regional security and other issues of mutual concern.
