Member of Florida House of Representatives signs resolution on Khojaly massacre
Baku, August 21 (AZERTAC). Member of Florida House of Representatives Daphne D. Campbell has signed a resolution commemorating the 21st anniversary of the Khojaly Massacre.
The document highlights the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the occupation of Khojaly by Armenian Armed Forces and the killing of 613 innocent civilians there.
The resolution also writes that the United Nations condemned the ongoing occupation of Nagorno-Karabakh and seven adjacent territories by Armenian forces in four Security Council resolutions. The occupation was declared to be violation of international law and thus the resolutions called for an immediate withdrawal of Armenian troops.
Campbell noted that the invader has ignored all these UN Security Council’s resolutions.
She called on Florida House of Representatives to commemorate the Khojaly massacre’s innocent victims who were savagely killed as a result of the attack of Armenian Armed Forces on February 26, 1992.
