MILLI MAJLIS FALL SESSION COMPLETES ITS WORK
The final meeting of the Milli Majlis fall session took place on Sunday. MM Deputy Speaker, chairman of the MM Standing Commission on Security and Defense Ziyafet Askerov provided information about the agenda. Then, the parliament adopted an address on the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day.
On the results of the meeting, Ziyafet Asgarov noted that Milli Majlis fall session held 15 meetings. The parliament passed 132 laws and resolutions including one Constitutional law and 10 resolutions.
Moreover, a foundation stone of the Parliament’s new building was laid to improve working conditions of MPs.
Milli Majlis did a great job to develop international ties. MM delegations were involved in the activity of international organizations. There were meetings with visiting Azerbaijan representatives of governments and parliaments in the Milli Majlis.
MM Deputy Speaker extended his greetings to MPs on the occasion of the Solidarity Day and New Year, and wished them every success in their activity.
