MINE KILLS ONE AND WOUNDS THREE IN AGDAM REGION

Residents of Shusha and Aghjabadi province Sabir Valiyev, 44 was killed and Shamil Aliyev, 23, Heydar and Kyamil Ibrahimov, 28 were wounded striking a mine on the territory of Agdam region on March 30, press-service of the Azerbaijan National Agency on Mine Actions /ANAMA/ told AzerTAj reporter. According to ANAMA, the incidents occurred 6 km northwest Nargiztepe populated area, when their tractor was driving towards farm. The wounded were placed in Guzanly village hospital.

It was announced that 18 mine incidents killing 14 and injuring 14 men occurred in the country in 2003; four similar facts were fixed in February 2004, as a result, 4 men died and 2 wounded.
