Kazakhstan supports Russia’s intentions to unleash pre-emptive strikes on terrorist bases anywhere in the world but does not want it to happen in its territory. President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarabayev stated it during his visit to Austria, ITAR-TASS reported.

Following the meeting with Federal President of Austria Heinz Fischer, N. Nazarbayev stated during the press conference that reaction of Russia after Beslan bloody events is understandable and worth respecting. Nevertheless, pre-emptive actions against terrorists based in various countries are necessary.

International counter-terrorism coalition must boost its efforts to gain victory over this evil, President Nazarbayev said.
