Nigeria boat accident claims at least 20 lives

At least 20 people died when their boat capsized in Nigeria’s Benue State, according to Anadolu Agency.
The wooden boat, carrying passengers returning from a market, sank in a section of the Benue River that flows through the Igatu region, said Benue Police spokesperson Catherine Anene.
Anene said that search and rescue efforts recovered 20 bodies, while 11 people were rescued and taken to the hospital.
Rescue operations are continuing in the area.
