NUMBER OF "AZERFON" SUBSCRIBERS EXCEEDS 100 THOUSAND
The number of the subscribers of Azerbaijan`s new mobile operator, Azerfon LLC (Nar Mobile) exceeds 100 thousand. In this connection, a press conference was held at Hyatt Regency hotel, June 20.
Director General of “Azerfon” John Armley told of the company’s activity. He underlined that currently, Nar Mobile covers 80% of Azerbaijan territory. About 70 stations have been extra opened within the last month. Today, Azerfon serves 500 thousand subscribers. The company has signed roaming agreements with 430 operators from 217 countries.
Azerfon made a grand offer to its subscribers-Summer Bonus Program, where the calls to any numbers all over the country became twice cheaper.
The Summer Bonus Program, which is being held from June to September 2007, makes all calls to the other mobile operators, to fixed land lines and international destinations and between Nar Mobile numbers and services, will be twice cheaper. Nar Mobil Subscribers will be refilling balance and depending on the volume of the refilling balance are getting addition free minutes.
All free minutes presented have a validity of 30 days from the day of loading. While getting free minutes from Summer Bonus Program, subscribers continue benefiting from earlier discounts from Nar Mobile on holidays and weekends and also while calling "favorite numbers" and at nighttime.
In addition, from 22nd of June 2007, such Bonus Program from Azerfon also will include price decrease on GPRS packages for as much as 50%, offering excellent speed, quality of communications and affordable prices. Such offer is unique and will let Nar Mobile subscribers to communicate more while deflating expenses or mobile communications twice.
