NUMBER OF AZERBAIJAN CITIZENS TO USA INCREASES BY 16 PERCENT

Number of Azerbaijan citizens, who addressed the US Embassy to Azerbaijan, to visit America increased by 16%, Consul of US Embassy to Azerbaijan Vlad Lipschuts said.

Last year, the US Embassy has granted 3000 visas for businessmen, tourists and students, Mr. Lipschuts said. He underlined that this year, 75 students got visas to study at USA. Of them, 45 are studying at the secondary schools, 15 at the Universities, colleagues and the post-graduate courses.

Moreover, the US Embassy denied 20% applicants a visa, because of various reasons.
